Travel Policy
Travel is one of the risk areas which has been mainly affected by the restrictions brought by Covid-19 in particular due to the clear government advice to avoid using pubic transports. Globally this has had an impact on business due to the borders being closed and requirements for quarantine and self-isolation imposed by many nations.
What do I need to do?
The risks associated with travelling and from the workplace need to be assessed particularly when phasing a return to work. Is being considered. Employers need to communicate these arrangements effectively to employees via a travel policy which may or may already been included in employees procedures.
As the transition period progresses, travel restrictions and/or guidance will continue to develop as will the arrangements put in place by employers.
